A barbarian queen lays in a snowy field, gazing up at the soft snowflakes falling from the blackness of a winter night.
She dreams of better days. Of innocence, and of simpler times.
Her life is larger than herself, and she has no escape from it. Only this nighttime contemplation. This lonely reflection.
She was once happy. Once free.
Her power is her cage.
Her responsibilities her imprisonment.
